Partner Meeting in Paris – July 10-14, 2023
From July 10 to 14, 2023, a partner meeting under the Erasmus+ project was held in Paris, France. This 5-day training program brought together 6 participants from each partner country (Turkey, Poland, and France), including local French participants, to enhance their IT skills and develop tools for effective dissemination of project results.
Objectives of the Training
The training aimed to:
- Equip participants with practical IT skills such as creating slides, presentations, newsletters, websites, and blogs using HTML.
- Teach participants to record and edit videos to effectively share their project experiences.
- Provide insights into media literacy, privacy, security, and intellectual property rights.
Program Highlights
The training featured a structured program:
- Day 1: Ice-breaker and warm-up activities; overview of the software tools.
- Day 2: Creating slides and newsletters.
- Day 3: Video creation and editing techniques.
- Day 4: Introduction to HTML and coding for building websites and blogs.
- Day 5: Legal considerations and best practices for public technology use.
Outcomes and Deliverables
Participants created several tangible outputs, including:
- Personalized videos showcasing their project experiences.
- Presentations introducing their autobiographies.
- Sample HTML pages and blogs.
- An e-guide on ICT safety and privacy, developed by the French partner.
Evaluation and Certification
The event was evaluated using online questionnaires prepared by the hosting partner. Participants received Certificates of Attendance, and Europass Mobility Documents were issued upon request.
Target Audience
The participants were adults affiliated with partner organizations or actively engaged in adult education. While there were no strict eligibility criteria, priority was given to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, such as the unemployed, low-paid, or elderly, as well as those with limited IT skills. These participants were expected to:
- Share their experiences and skills with their local communities.
- Act as mentors or trainers for other adults in their regions.
Future Dissemination
Following the training, each partner will organize local events to share the knowledge and skills gained during the meeting. These events will include workshops, job shadowing, and collaborative meetings, ensuring the sustainability and broader impact of the project.
This productive meeting in Paris not only fostered international collaboration but also empowered participants with digital tools to amplify the reach and effectiveness of the Erasmus+ project.
2023
Partner Meeting in Ostrów Wielkopolski – August 8-14, 2023
From August 8 to 14, 2023, a partner meeting titled “Let’s Discover Our Tastes” was held in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland, as part of the Erasmus+ project. This 5-day culinary-themed activity brought together 6 participants from each partner country (Turkey and France), along with local participants including chefs, cooking teachers, and representatives of vocational schools and adult education centers. Translators accompanied each group to facilitate communication.
Objectives and Themes
The event aimed to:
- Explore and learn about starters, salads, homemade drinks, and side dishes from partner countries’ cuisines.
- Share culinary traditions and foster cross-cultural appreciation.
- Inspire participants with success stories of individuals who have turned their culinary skills into thriving businesses.
Program Highlights
The structured program included:
- Day 1: Welcoming activities, icebreakers, and introductions to partner countries’ culinary traditions.
- Days 2-3: Preparation and tasting of 5 starters from each partner’s cuisine.
- Days 4-5: Exploration of salads, homemade drinks (at least 2), and side dishes (at least 4) from each partner’s culinary repertoire.
Additionally, the hosting partner provided a presentation showcasing success stories of individuals who have successfully built businesses around food, drink, or online sales. Whenever possible, interviews with these entrepreneurs were arranged to inspire participants.
Outcomes
The activity encouraged hands-on participation, allowing attendees to:
- Learn new culinary techniques and recipes.
- Gain inspiration from success stories to apply in their local contexts.
- Strengthen cross-cultural collaboration through shared culinary experiences.
Evaluation and Dissemination
The event’s success was assessed using online questionnaires. Participants returned to their countries equipped with new skills and knowledge, which they shared through training sessions and local events organized by each partner. These events included workshops, job-shadowing opportunities, and collaborative activities designed to disseminate the project’s outcomes.
Target Audience
The event targeted adults, young adults, and individuals involved in adult education with an interest in culinary traditions. Priority was given to participants from disadvantaged backgrounds or those with limited culinary or professional opportunities.
Future Impact
This engaging and enriching meeting not only deepened participants’ culinary expertise but also empowered them to share their knowledge, fostering the sustainability of the Erasmus+ project goals. Each partner will organize at least one local event to ensure the wider dissemination of the knowledge and skills gained during this activity.
2024
Partner Meeting in Antalya – June 22-28, 2024
From June 22 to 28, 2024, the Erasmus+ project partners gathered in Antalya, Turkey, for an engaging meeting titled “Let’s Discover Our Tastes”. This 5-day culinary event (excluding travel days) brought together participants from Turkey, France, and local Turkish representatives. The activity aimed to deepen knowledge and appreciation of main dishes and desserts from partner countries’ cuisines.
Participants
- Each partner country (Turkey and France) sent 5+1 participants, with the additional participant being a qualified English speaker if needed.
- Local participants, including chefs, cooking teachers, and representatives from vocational schools and adult education centers, attended the activity. At least six local participants were present, but there was no upper limit for local attendees.
Objectives
The meeting focused on:
- Exploring and learning about main dishes and desserts from each partner’s culinary traditions.
- Inspiring participants with success stories of individuals who turned their passion for cooking into successful businesses.
- Enhancing cross-cultural collaboration and culinary skills.
Program Highlights
The structured program included:
- Day 1: Welcoming, icebreakers, and an introduction to partner countries’ culinary traditions.
- Days 2-3: Preparation and tasting of five main dishes from each partner’s cuisine.
- Days 4-5: Exploration of five desserts from each partner’s cuisine.
The hosting partner provided all necessary kitchen tools, equipment, and ingredients.
Additionally, participants were inspired by a presentation on success stories from individuals who established businesses or achieved financial independence through cooking and selling their food or drink products online. Interviews with these individuals were arranged whenever possible.
Outcomes
The meeting achieved the following outcomes:
- Participants gained hands-on experience in preparing and tasting traditional dishes and desserts from Turkey and France.
- New culinary skills and techniques were shared across cultures.
- Participants were inspired to apply lessons learned in their local contexts.
Evaluation and Dissemination
The event’s effectiveness was evaluated through online questionnaires conducted before, during, and after the activity. Participants returned to their countries ready to share their experiences and knowledge through:
- Local training sessions organized by each partner.
- Workshops, job-shadowing, and community events to disseminate the knowledge gained.
Target Audience
The activity targeted:
- Adults, young adults, and individuals involved in adult education with an interest in culinary traditions.
- Participants from disadvantaged groups, such as the unemployed, low-paid, or uneducated, were prioritized.
Long-Term Impact

Local events organized by partners will further amplify the project’s impact, fostering cultural exchange and empowering individuals through the art of cooking.
2024
International conference under the Erasmus+ project took place in Regensburg, Germany – August 7, 2024
On August 7, 2024, an international conference under the Erasmus+ project took place in Regensburg, Germany. The event was led by Nebi Demir (ASDA) and Yacine Beral (SL21), with online support from Anna Nowicka (SDA).
During the conference, participants received informational materials, including project leaflets and an e-book. A total of 28 participants from five countries attended:
- Germany: 13 participants
- Poland: 4 participants
- France: 2 participants
- Greece: 7 participants
- Turkey: 2 participants
The attendees were representatives of NGOs and institutions working to support adult education. These organizations share similar target groups and educational objectives, making the conference an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
A Hybrid Event with a Comprehensive Program
The conference was organized as a hybrid event, combining in-person and online participation. The program included the following key elements:
